Acconet AN-5820WB Wireless LAN enclosure (with 20 dBi 5 GHz. Antenna integrated) valid for all Routerstation, ALIX and Mikrotik models. This flexible outdoor enclosure has an integrated 20dBi flat panel antenna for 5 GHz applications such as Wireless LAN. The antenna is mounted inside the enclosure to provide an aesthetically pleasing look without any visible antennas. Using an integrated solution such as this increases RF performance by reducing cable loss between your wireless equipment and the antenna. The polarization of the antennas can be adjusted between Horizontal and Vertical by turning the internal antenna plate through 90 degrees – without interfering with the mounting of the unit. This integrated solution is specifically designed for harsh outdoor applications. The enclosure is completely weatherproof and has an IP66 outdoor rating against ingress of water or dust. Ample internal space is provided to suit most electrical components and applications. These components can be neatly and professionally installed into the enclosure with the adhesive internal mounting feet provided. The enclosure is ideal for outdoor radio applications as it includes a weatherproof RJ45 connector and makes provision for up to four N-Type Connectors to be mounted on the base of the unit. This makes it possible to deploy multiple radio interfaces in the same enclosure – utilizing the integrated 20dBi 5.8GHz antenna and other external antennas such as Omni-Directional antennas or High-Gain Grids. A pole mounting bracket is included which allows the enclosure to be mounted on poles up to 50mm (1.97 inches) in diameter.
