Presentation

It is basically a practical training . After to learn it the atendee will be capable to install and admninistrate an asterisk system.

During the training a Voice over IP network will be deployed.

The atendees should be some previous knowledgments about conventional Telephony . Departing of this point, they will learn to perform a VoIP deployment and will get a solid Asterisk background.

It is also interesting to own some Linux knowledgments.

Training will be based in a  CentOS Linux 5.0 distribution (similar to Red Hat LinuxEn terprise 5) and Asterisk releases 1.4 and 1.8.
