This Gigabit Power over Ethernet Injector inserts DC Voltage into Cat.5 cable allowing the cable between the injector and PoE Ready Device to transfer data and power simultaneously. The maximum distance between the injector and PoE Ready Device is 100 meters. Unlike the existing Power over Ethernet Injector, it also provides 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet connection ability. The PoE-G2448 is perfect PoE Injector for PoE ready 802.11n Wireless Access Points. 802.11n has maximum of 300Mbps bandwidth under best condition. 802.11n will operate around 130Mbps under normal condition. Only PoE-G2448 can provide both the bandwidth and power for 802.11n Wireless Access Points.
