The Wireless Subscriber Gateway WG -602 is a compact intelligent gateway integrated with a four-port port-based V-LAN switch. It is designed as an Access Controller for service providers/system integrator/hotspot operator to deploy a HOTSPOT service with backend-RADIUS-Server. With it standard based RADIUS protocol, Hotspot operator can integrate WG-602 with any kind of RADIUS Server which is standard based.The WG-602 is an ideal solution for hotels, coffee shops, airports, conference facilities and other sites that commonly host business travelers, and offers instant high-speed Internet connections. With its IP Plug and Play technology, it accepts any client configuration for log-on. There's no need for end-user to change any of their default network (Static IP), e-mail (SMTP Server behind firewall), or browser settings (HTTP Proxy) or load any special software to access Hotspot service. It's completely plug and play with any browser.

Combination with an option item Account Generator printer-AG200E, Hotspot operator could deploy their Hotspot business with selling Prepay card in advance and selling one time password in local at the same time. This is means that the Hotspot operator could offer the users who already purchased the Prepay card or subscribed to Hotspot service, and also the users who do not subscribe the service or do not have prepay card, because they can purchase an account immediately at the location where WG-602 is installed and connected with AG-200E like coffee shop's counter. The Hotspot venue owner is just need to press one button on Account Generator AG-200, an one time account will be generated and print-out immediately.

AG-200E is the new Account Generator Printer, it is attached to WG-602P through the Ethernet IP network. WG-602P supports up to 10 AG-200E placed in different sites of the LAN.

The WG-602, which is based on the IEEE 802.11g wireless standard, operates at a 2.4GHz frequency, it interoperate with any IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11b compliant wireless device.

IP Plug and Play Technology 

This technology helps solve connectivity problems by offering instant Internet access without the need for configuration changes to the client computer or any resident client-side software. This is means that even client configuration such like network IP address (included Gateway IP, DNS) or HTTP Proxy settings is different with the provided network, client still can access to the network instantly with their existing network configuration.

Complete AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Accounting) 

As an Access Controller in Hotspot application, WG-602 provides standard based Radius Client to communicate with any standard based Radius server , in order to support AAA (Authentication , Authorization and Accounting).

High Level Network Security

Several Network Security protocols are provided in WG-602 to fully secure the wireless communication and secure data transfer over the wireless LAN, such like WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), WEP, SSL configuration page, SSL client login page, VLAN security on LAN ports, Layer 2 Isolation security. In addition, a PPTP VPN client also provided in WG- 602 in order to establish a secure tunnel between WG-602's WAN port and Radius Server to protect the transaction of client's Username/ Password over Internet.

Enhance Local and Personalized Service 

The WG-602 allows fully customization on the client login/logout page and content on print-out ticket. WG-602 also has the ability to redirect end user to a pre-configured page as an Advertising web pages, it help hotspot operator to promote their other products or services.

Powerful Management Tool 

The WG-602 provides several effective management tools to Hotspot operator to manage or maintain their Hotspot devices and service from remote site. The management tools included Web configurator, TFTP/HTTP firmware upgrade, LAN Device Management and SNMP. A Syslog function also provided in WG-602 to help Hotspot operator to collect the "history" log like billing logs, client's usage logs and client's access logs.

Status Monitoring 

The WG-602 implements the status monitoring pages to help Hotspot operator to monitoring their Hotspot service. The status monitoring pages are Current User, Session List, DHCP Client List and Accounts Status.

Remote Billing function with combination of AG-200E (Optional item) 

Up to 10 AG-200E Account Generator Printer can be connected remotely through the IP Network. With an optional AG-200E, Hotspot venue owber can utilize it to generate an one time account by pressing one button on the AG-200 to the user who want to purchase it by cash and access to the internet immediately. It will bring extra revenue to the hotspot venue owner.
